Administered through Valley Heartland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC), Lanark-North Leeds offers a local investment fund to help finance new or existing small business for start-up, expansion or stabilization plans that help maintain or create jobs.

Repayable financing of up to $150,000 on commercial terms in the form of loans, loan guarantees, or equity investments, is available when financing from other sources is insufficient or unavailable. All financing decisions are made at the community level by a local Board of Directors.
