Eastern Ontario Development Fund.

The Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) is a $10 million Government of Canada initiative announced February 18, 2008 that promotes rural socio-economic development in Eastern Ontario, leading to a more competitive and diversified regional economy, and contributing to the successful development of businesses, job opportunities and sustainable, self-reliant communities. The fund supports business development, skills development, retention and attraction of youth, and access to capital. In the Lanark County & North Leeds Region, Valley Heartland CFDC will be administering the fund, through a variety of development programs.
